Living Free UK accepts opinion pieces on LGBTQ+ news, culture, life, relationships, sex, and health.

If you are a writer with a story you’d love to share, send an email with the subject as OPINION: TOPIC, and add an author’s ID of 50-100 words in the body of the email. At the bottom of the email, include contact information with the name you’d love to appear under your piece—pseudonyms are accepted—and any other relevant information you think we might be interested in.

Send your piece as an attachment—we prefer it to be in .docx format—and in not more than three paragraphs, explain your story idea. It should be clear, and should also include the format(if it’s an interview piece, personal essay, story feature, etc.) We accept submissions between 350-700 words.

As a growing publication, we don’t pay for published pieces, but we hope to do so in the future.
